CLIENT CHALLENGE

A small regional bus provider engaged Scriptus to assist with their response to a Request for Tender (RFT).  Whilst the company had the capability to deliver the technical and operational aspects of the submission, their existing content, compliance and competitive approach required some development.   Other challenges the Scriptus team faced were tight deadlines for submission, ensuring existing policies aligned with RFT objectives and that newly developed content and methods supported and complemented the company’s existing capabilities and capacity.

SCRIPTUS SOLUTION

Scriptus worked closely with the client providing project management and tender support tools such as:

·      Deconstructing tender requirements, reviewing the scoring and criteria components, and broke down each response element into manageable sections

·      Created a project schedule to manage the response and content development within the specific timelines

·      Developed templates and tools to ensure the client retained control of Intellectual property and consistent format for future submissions. 

·      Complied concise and comprehensive content and supporting materials, focussing on clarity, compliance and capabilities.

In addition to project management and content development, Scriptus’ consultants were able to utilise our understanding of procurement strategy to focus on approaches that made an impact and ensured compliance aspects were evident and thoroughly documented.

RESULTS

Scriptus was able to effectively simplify and streamline the bid process for the small family run business, and successfully submit a competitive, compelling and literal winning bid.  The company not only secured the contract, they also gained valuable tendering tools, knowledge and understanding that confidently equipped them for any future submissions.
